Okayyy – crazy goes. But singing has all sorts of positive effects. And you don’t even have to be good at it, to reap the benefits.
If you can pass the barrier of embarassment, and make it a natural part of your days, your reward will await:
“The neuroscience of singing shows that when we sing our neurotransmitters connect in new and different ways. It fires up the right temporal lobe of our brain, releasing endorphins that make us smarter, healthier, happier and more creative. When we sing with other people this effect is amplified.”
Try making a tradition around it, e.g. at christmas times (if you celebrate christmas) or morning singing, or at a retrospective, or birthdays. Start out small to make it natural.
